Christopher Czerwinski

Mechanical engineer by training, software leader by trade. I build reliable financial systems, lead engineering teams, and turn messy data into multi‑million dollar outcomes.

Engineering discipline, applied to software.

I started in mechanical engineering β€” graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Delaware with a 4.0 GPA and a double minor in Computer Science and Mathematics β€” and carried that rigor straight into software. Today I lead the Financials team at FAST Enterprises, where I translate business requirements into shipped features, mentor new engineers, and keep government-scale payment systems running reliably for millions of taxpayers.

Along the way I've built discovery pipelines that returned over $8M to taxpayers, shaved double-digit percentages off nightly batch runtimes, designed embedded systems for a competition aircraft, and researched multi-robot coverage algorithms in a university robotics lab. I like problems that sit at the intersection of systems thinking and hands-on engineering.

Where I've made an impact.
